Connect to Microsoft Exchange

Microsoft Exchange

IMPORTANT Pre-Requisites: To Connect Exchange Account, IMAP/SMTP must be enabled.

1. IMAP/POP Settings:

a. Visit this page: https://admin.exchange.microsoft.com/#/mailboxes

b. On Manage mailboxes page Search email address and click on Display name

c. On General Tab > Email apps & mobile devices > Manage email apps settings

d. Enable IMAP and POP3.

2. SMTP Settings:

a. Visit the page: https://admin.microsoft.com/#/users

b. On Active users page Search email address and click on Display name.

c. Go to Mail Tab > Email apps > Manage email apps.

d. Enable IMAP, POP and Authenticated SMTP.

Mailbox

Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page to the Integrations section and toggle the radio button next to Connect your Mailbox to on.


A pop up window will display the options available to connect your current email.

1. Click on the Microsoft Exchange icon and then click the link to connect.

2. You will be redirected to a Microsoft Exchange OAuth page. Enter your email address, password and 2FA (Two Factor Authorisation) details.

3. Grant Consent form with request permissions, you will only have to do this one time.

4. You will now be redirected back to the PaintPad Communication page and your emails will load.
